What Is an Abscess

Abscess is primarily a form of pus that accumulates within human body. Abscess formations generally occur when the body attempts to fight an infection. Blood cells generally accumulate around the specific area of infection thus accumulating to form a type of pus. Most people define abscess a collection of pus accumulated in a specific cavity. A prime example of abscess is a BCG-oma. BCG-oma causes mainly due to the incorrect administration of BCG vaccine.

One needs to realize the fact that the above-mentioned drugs are not meant to treat abscesses itself. If in the case one desires to gain temporary relief then it is always advisable to rinse with warm saltwater or clove oil. 

It is possible to reduce the chances of suffering from a dental abscess by adhering to an effective daily routine and oral hygiene. It is always a good practice to practice flossing and brushing after every single meal.
