What Is Chlamydia Pneumonia

Chlamydia pneumonia is having another scientific name as Chlamydophila pneumonia. This is the Chlamydia type which causes the pneumonia in the human body. This pneumonia disease is negative cocci bacteria available throughout environment. If the medication is not done on time, then the infection can turn into chronic.

Chlamydia pneumonia is sexually transmitted diseases, which cause pneumonia in infants and youth kids whereas chlamydia psittaci is one more pneumonia disease origins Chlamydia species. Psittaci spreads pet birds such as cockatiels, parakeets, parrots, macaws, etc. It can happen from poultry birds as well like pigeons, ducks, sparrows, chicken and turkeys.

Scientifically, Chlamydia pneumonia is the most widespread species of three different categories of Chalmydia species. The three categories are Legionella species, Mycoplasma pneumonia and C. pneumonia (also recognized as Chalmydia pneumoniae) that are responsible for causing pneumonia in human.

If we calculate the level of this syndrome, nearly half of the people in every 3rd quarter are infected with C. pneumonia disease, though most people get infected in teenage and young age. As per reports, the list of a pneumonia patient is increasing every year.

The major cause of C. pneumonia is direct contact with an affected pneumonia person. It spreads in human because of respiratory droplets from the infected person. Chlamydia pneumonia is not spreading or transmitting through the sexual process. This disease reticulates the body and creates new copies of bacteria in the cells. Slowly, the complete cells get affected, and person faces troubles, though recovering or curing the cells is the time-consuming process so patient affected with C. pneumonia should reach the doctor as they get the symptoms.

Symptoms: The symptoms of chlamydia pneumonia include headache, cough, and tiredness as well. People who are infected with Chlamydia pneumonia are originally asymptomatic, and they get symptoms like cough, Hyper aeration, Peribronchial cuffing, Tachypnea, Respiratory distress, Nasal Congestion, and Crackling breathing sounds. Patient might get infection as laryngitis, bronchitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, and sinusitis. There are possibilities that patient will not get any symptom of Chalmydia pneumonia, and this process is known as walking pneumonia. This means patient is having either few symptoms or no signs for this disease, but the infection is present in the cell.

Analysis: isolating the bacteria of chlamydia pneumonia is difficult so doctors are preferring antibody tests, which are mostly relied upon for analyzing this disease.

Treatment of Chlamydia Pneumonia: patients affected with this disease are children and young adults. Serious causes can occur if the treatment is not done on time. Adults might face life-threatening difficulties as the Chlamydia Pneumonia can occur with other pre-existing complications of health. The treatment of Chlamydia Pneumonia includes Tetracycline, Doxycycline, Macrolides, Erythromycin, and Fluoroquinolones. Tetracycline is not suggested for pregnant females affected with Chalmydia pneumonia.
