What is Psyllium Husk

Psyllium husk is known as Isabgol. It comes from Plantago ovata plant, an herb which is grown in the regions of Northwestern region of India. It is a fiber material which is derived from the outer coating of the psyllium seed. This herb is used to cure constipation, bladder problems, hemorrhoids, and high blood pressure.
