Renal failure is a medical condition that adversely affects the kidneys. The failure can be either permanent or temporary depending upon various options of treatment and the causes of the failure.
The common renal failures are either chronic or acute. Chronic renal failure is considered more serious than an acute failure of the renal. This is due to the reason that in case of a chronic renal failure many symptoms remains invisible till the kidneys get completely damaged.
Chronic failure is usually caused due to high blood pressure or diabetics. If untreated for a longer time, there is also a possibility of the disease to get worsened and adversely affect the health of a person.
Acute failure of renal may be due to a serious kidney injury, infection or even dehydration. This type of failure can be easily treated without damaging any crucial parts of the body.
Some of the general symptoms of a renal failure are swelling caused due to accumulated fluids and reduction in urination. Besides this a person may feel exhausted or have a ill feeling accompanied with headache.
In case it is a chronic renal failure a person may not even notice any symptoms till the disease causes any major damage to the body parts. Ultimately it is extremeness of a kidney failure that can diagnose and treat the severity of the renal failure. Thus, a person suffering from a renal failure can be treated by treating the kidneys by means of a kidney transplant or a dialysis.
Till the time the kidneys are not completely damaged, a renal failure can be treated through a dialysis. However in case of a complete damage of the kidneys, a person may require a kidney transplant.
Kidneys play a major role in a human body by filtering the excessive waste and water from the stream of blood and to produce urine which is used for flushing away the toxins. Besides this, the kidneys also help to maintain a balance of electrolytes, salts and fluids within the body.
The renal failure causes a cellular death of the kidneys and thus they are not able to filter the waste, maintain control over the fluids or produce urine for flushing the toxins out of the body.
The multiplication of the toxins within the body thus starts affecting various other crucial parts of the body like brain, heart or blood. It is therefore essential to treat a renal failure in time as it is considered to be one of the most deadly diseases.
A renal failure is a condition in which the kidneys lose to function normally due to several factors like infections, cancer, chemicals, immune and chronic diseases and endocrine disorders.
